1. About UX Academy

These terms and conditions govern your use of the UX Academy website (myuxacademy.com) and your enrolment in UX Academy courses and services. UX Academy is a trading name of Nomadic User Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company no. 12004184), with registered address at 49 Greek Street, London W1D 4EG.

By purchasing a course or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

2. Course enrolment

Enrolment in a UX Academy course is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit or full payment. Places are limited to 15 students per cohort and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We reserve the right to decline an enrolment if we believe a course is not suitable for you based on the experience requirements stated on the course page.

3. Payment

The £99 deposit secures your place. The remaining balance of £1,401 is due by invoice before the course starts. Interest-free payment plans are available on request.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. UX Academy does not store your payment card details.

Prices displayed on our website are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation and refund policy

Before the course starts:

• Your £99 deposit is fully refundable at any time before the first session.
• If you have paid the full balance and cancel before the first session, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

After the course starts:

• Within 14 days of your first session and before week 4: full refund of the £1,401 balance.
• After week 4: no refund is available for the balance.
• The £99 deposit is non-refundable once the course has started.

5. Course delivery

UX Academy courses are delivered live online via Zoom. Session dates and times are confirmed at enrolment. We make every effort to deliver sessions as scheduled.

In the event a session needs to be rescheduled due to instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will provide at least 24 hours notice and schedule a replacement session.

If UX Academy cancels a course cohort entirely before it begins, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

6. Student conduct

Students are expected to engage respectfully with instructors and fellow students. UX Academy reserves the right to remove a student from a course without refund if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful to others.

Course materials, recordings (where provided), and session content are for personal use only and may not be shared, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission from UX Academy.

7. Certificates

Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of a course. Completion requires attendance at a minimum of 75% of live sessions and submission of the final project.

8. Intellectual property

All course materials, content, and resources provided by UX Academy are the intellectual property of Nomadic User Ltd. You may use them for personal learning purposes only.

Work you create during the course (including your real client project) remains your intellectual property. By enrolling, you grant UX Academy a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised examples of student work for marketing and educational purposes.

9. Limitation of liability

UX Academy is not responsible for any loss of income, employment, or career outcomes following completion of a course. We make no guarantee of employment or specific career outcomes.

Our total liability to you in connection with any course shall not exceed the amount you paid for that course.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last updated. Changes do not affect enrolments already in progress at the time of the change.
